BLOG10 Things Planned Parenthood Accomplished in 100 Years

By Marissa Mayer Posted on: | October 17, 2016

On October 16, Planned Parenthood officially turned 100 years old. So what does 100 years in business look like for the abortion giant?

A short list of Planned Parenthood's "accomplishments" over the past 100 years include:

1. Ended the lives of over 7 million children in the womb

This outrageous number doesn't even include lives taken by Planned Parenthood before Roe v. Wade.

2. Got caught on video negotiating prices for baby parts

A series of undercover videos by The Center for Medical Progress shows Planned Parenthood officials haggling over the price of baby parts, advertising the freshness of the baby parts they collect and sell, and discussing altering abortion methods to obtain intact body parts.

3. Failed to report the sexual abuse of young girls brought to its clinics

Planned Parenthood has an extensive history of ignoring child sexual abuse and enabling predators. A recent report presents a pattern of documented Planned Parenthood incidents involving sexually abused minors in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Minnesota, and Ohio.

4. Targeted minorities for racial cleansing

Planned Parenthood is shrouded in a history of eugenics, thanks to its founder Margaret Sanger. See the truth about Planned Parenthood's shocking history in the video below.

5. Fought against common sense laws that protect women and children

These laws include those that would protect infants born alive after botched abortions, eliminate abortions after the 20-week period (with some exceptions) where science has proven that babies feel pain, and that require better care for women and higher safety standards in abortion clinics.

6. Was involved in multiple lawsuits exposing misuse of taxpayer funds

In 2013, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, the Texas and Louisiana based affiliate of the world’s largest abortion business, paid $4.3 million to settle a fraud investigation. Other lawsuits include one by former clinic manager and ADF client Sue Thayer alleging nearly $28 million in “repeated false, fraudulent, and/or ineligible claims for reimbursements to Medicaid.”

7. Weaseled its way into the public school system with sex-ed programs that promote risky sexual behavior in children

Planned Parenthood says they teach young people to take sex seriously, yet they promote a casual attitude toward sex – starting with kindergarten-aged children. For older kids, they hand out condoms packaged to look like candy and even built a website where college students can brag about where and when they had sex.

8. Bullied an organization that was actually doing something to prevent and treat cancer

In 2012, the Susan G. Komen Foundation decided it would no longer award grants to Planned Parenthood. The foundation sought to only provide grants to clinics where they could directly fund mammograms. (Planned Parenthood can at most, give mammogram referrals. However, they market this service deceptively as “breast cancer screening.”) Naturally, Planned Parenthood threw a temper tantrum and mobilized their legion of pro-abortion followers and donors to paint this decision by Komen as an attack on women’s rights. As one writer put it: “Within days, Komen, like a stressed out parent at the supermarket with a screaming child, gave in and bought the kid a sucker.”

9. Advocated for taxpayer-funded abortion through the elimination of the Hyde Amendment

For over 40 years, the Hyde Amendment has banned the use of federal funds (aka our tax dollars) to pay for abortion, except in the case of rape, incest, or when the mom’s life is in danger. Despite overwhelming support of Hyde by taxpayers, Planned Parenthood has urged leaders in the Democratic Party to end Hyde, claiming that if taxpayers do not pay for abortions, then poor women won’t be able to have them.

10. Encouraged their cronies to hold Zika funding hostage unless Planned Parenthood received federal funds

For months, Planned Parenthood’s allies in Washington blocked federal funding to fight the Zika virus outbreak because the proposed bill didn’t include funding for two Planned Parenthood facilities in Puerto Rico. But abortion doesn’t treat Zika. All it does is kill innocent children in the womb who may or may not have potential disabilities.

How to Stop Planned Parenthood

One hundred years is too much time for a scandal-ridden abortion organization with a sordid history to continue to rake in hundreds of millions of our tax dollars each year. Share this post to help expose the truth about Planned Parenthood and how they work to protect and grow their billion-dollar empire that was built by deceiving women and killing their unborn children.
