Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys have filed suit in federal court against medical licensing authorities in Vermont on behalf of health care professionals who wish to abide by their oath to "do no harm." The state agencies are construing Vermont's assisted suicide law as requiring them, regardless of their conscience or oath, to counsel patients on doctor-prescribed death as an option.

The NBA announced last week its decision to move the league's men's All-Star Game from Charlotte to another city because of North Carolina's law that ensures that young girls aren't forced to shower and change clothes in the presence of men in public facilities. ADF Legal Counsel Kellie Fiedorek suggests it’s time to merge the men’s and women’s leagues into one.

In September 2015, North Carolina State University officials informed students with Grace Christian Life that, without a permit, they must stop approaching other students in the Talley Student Union to engage in religious discussions with them or invite them to attend Grace Christian Life events. Senior Counsel Casey Mattox details the changes to the NC State speech policy after ADF sued the university on behalf of the group.
