Forget 'Safe, Legal and Rare' – Planned Parenthood Wants 'Free and Plentiful' Abortions

Oh, Planned Parenthood.

You'd think after some recent social media fails, the abortion giant would have learned its lesson.  But when an organization is desperate to maintain a positive image amidst overwhelming evidence of waste, abuse, and potential fraud, possible felonious behavior (having admitted to altering abortion procedures to get higher-quality organs from babies they abort), not to mention national and state investigations and long-overdue efforts to cut off its funding, it's only natural that they'd make some missteps.

This tweet is the perfect example:

— Planned Parenthood (@PPact) December 13, 2015

It links to a post on Fusion.net where the writer, an American citizen, denounces America's policies protecting the lives of unborn babies, and describes her experience living in a world where abortion is "free and plentiful,” AKA the United Kingdom (I can see the next Visit Britain promotional campaign now).

You've now heard it straight from the horse's mouth: Forget "safe, legal, and (not-so) rare" - Planned Parenthood wants abortion on demand and on the taxpayer's dime.

Never mind that the abortion giant is already responsible for destroying over 300,000 lives a year. And never mind that these abortions that Planned Parenthood wants us all to pay for currently make up 86% of its non-government health services revenue. More abortions, on the taxpayer's dime, means more money in Planned Parenthood's pockets. Cha-ching!

You see, no abortion can be free; it's only paid for by someone else. And who but the biggest of Big Abortion would be getting that someone else’s money? And overbilling for the “service”?

But what inspired this brutal, horrific honesty?

Perhaps Planned Parenthood was too distracted by the dollar signs in its eyes, that it forgot that Big Abortion and its political allies are supposed to pop the "safe, legal, and rare" smoke grenade upon being exposed as abortion cheerleaders. Or maybe it wasn't a misstep at all and times have gotten so desperate that they are willing to go to extreme lengths (i.e. Tell the truth) to try to rally their followers.

If that's the case, I say keep it comin'. As distasteful as the inner workings of Planned Parenthood are, polls show that the more people know about Planned Parenthood, the more they favor defunding such a scandal-ridden organization.

Either way, Representative Diane Black probably said it best:

"With a single tweet, Planned Parenthood … effectively admitted that the abortion lobby's mantra of 'safe, legal, and rare' abortion is a lie and that the organization's real mission is to encourage elective abortions funded off the backs of taxpayers. These statements are painful to hear and offensive to all Americans of conscience, but what else would we expect from an organization that calls the destruction of an unborn life 'healthcare' and that allows aborted babies to be disposed of in landfills?"

Help expose the truth about Planned Parenthood

For years, Planned Parenthood has tried to convince the American public that it cares more about women's health than profit, and that abortion and healthcare belong in the same sentence. But the truth is quite the opposite, and it's time to ensure that the world knows it. You can help expose the truth about Planned Parenthood by sharing this content on social media.
